Synopsis : Consisting of four very talented and experienced musicians, The Idea of North has developed itself as one of the most original and entertaining acapella groups in the world.

Described by James Morrison as ‘the best a cappella group in the country’, the ensemble combines contemporary classics with original material and their repertoire is an eclectic mix of standard cabaret through to jazz, big band and pop into acapella classics – arrangements of Sting, the Bee Gees and James Taylor side by side with traditional gospel and blues.

They are performing here in conjunction with My.Oz, the Australian High Commission’s year-long cultural program to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Australia.
