Mass Genocide and ToyoL

In another development concerning the canine genocide which was planned out by the heinous local council of Majlis Perbandaran Selayang, it was reported in the paper today that the head of the state (Menteri Besar Khir Toyol) condemned the barbaric local council after mass protest from the concerning citizens and animal lovers in the country.

Phew, I thought that at least there is indeed a good leader who knows how to differentiate between the good and the bad. At last, someone who indeed stands out to correct the wrong. Someone who shows the capability of a true leader and think before action.

And this was what reported in the paper today.

============

The state government has ordered the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) to take another look at its controversial dog-catching competition.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo said the reward amount was unreasonable and too high.

"We understand that MPS organised the competition in good faith as it hoped to attract the locals’ attention in solving the stray dogs problem.

"However, the prize money is too high and we want them to take another look at the competition."

=============

??~~?~??~?~?~?~~?~

What the fuck?

This man, a Menteri Besar himself, didn't speak of banning the competition after mass protest from the public and media, but instead, he came out with a stupid and toyol remark stating that the prize money is too freaking high? Can't he see the bloody issue here is not about the prize money? Its about the ethics and moral of holding such contest and the implication of the contest on the society, and also to the poor dogs, for goodness sake!!!

Well, this perhaps shows that he is one total brainless, heartless, heinous and murderer Menteri Besar we have here in this state. And he dares to proclaim that he is the leader of a developed state. Yeah right, first class infrastructure, bottom class mentality.

Speechless.... .. . .. . . . .

Khir ToyoL, don't be so bloody stupid and toyol can or not? Pleeeeeeze! (copied from here)

Tessellation and Fantasy

Convex and Convaves - 1953

Intriguing. Painting that shows impossible structures, yet captivates the mind and soul. It has been said that there are people who spent hours in the museum multiple times just to enjoy his creation. And it was said that no matter how many times one sees the artwork, one still wont be able to see them all.

That is the work of the famous Maurits Cornelius Escher, or MC Escher. I only knew about his existence when I was watching Il Mare the other day, and I digged further to know more about him.

In his earlier works, he experimented with tessellation (the regular division of the plane, or tiling), which can be shown in the two paintings below. He toyed around with boundlessness with repeated objects and the result was infinite symetrical geometry. His art was mostly flat or 2 dimensional plane at first (see Horsemen), but he progressively ventured into spherical shapes (see Circle Limit IV) while staying to the infinite geometrical concepts.

Horsemen
Notice the repeated black and white horses facing each other in the opposite direction

Escher potraying tessellation in circular pattern in this masterpiece - Circle Limit IV

Later in his life, he started experimenting with transformation, or metamorphing. He practically changes a group of object into another object gradually through a series of slight changes (see below) For the first artwork, his touch of work has basically transformed a fish into a goose. And the second one sees the transformation from bees into fishes (and birds??). Really a brilliant work from the genius himself. It was during this time that he was involved with mathematicians and I believe that these must have influenced part of his designs.

And evolving from the same theme, he created a new theme called "Image Stories". One of his artwork, Encounter, was based on this idea. This piece was completed in 1944.

Encounter - 1944

"... on a gray wall, these human figures increase their mutual contrast toward the center ... each kind detaches themselves from the wall surface and walks into space ... Thus going round they can't help meeting in the foreground ... the black pessimist keeps his finger raised in a gesture of warning, but the white optimist cheerfully comes to his encounter, and so they finally shake hands." - excerpt from here.

Noticed how the black and white figure (element of tessellation) coming out from the rear wall, and going round, each in opposite direction and eventually uniting at the centre.

The later stage of his life sees his fascination with space and infinity . We eventually sees him developing pieces which depict structures in a seemingly impossible time and space. These structures are impossible to be built in real life, and the examples below will explain why it is so.

Belvedere - 1958

Relativity - 1953

Up and Down

It was said that there is element of loneliness which showed in Convex and Concave as the people were not aware of each other's existence even though they are living in the same place.

As for Relativity, I find a similarity between this art and the movie, Il Mare. The people are unaware of each other presense (just like Convex and Concave). I would say Escher is trying to convey the message that these men exist in the real world, but they living in a different time and another dimension, just like the movie. Therefore, the characters are totally unaware of each other's presence. Hmm.. Made me wonder if this are for real, or fantasy.

Fantasy or not, I still say his works are truly genius and brilliant!!

I Feel Screwed!

Thanks to anonymous (Mr Ke**e T*n) for this information.

Don't you feel something is S.E.R.I.O.U.S.L.Y. not right? This I say, is a legal fraud and open corruption. And Auditor-General is not doing anything other than putting up remarks. As usual, no action will be taken against the culprit.

(source : The Star Online - 9th Sept 2007)

Paying through the nose for tools

By ROYCE CHEAH, ELIZABETH LOOI and MANJIT KAUR

PETALING JAYA: Would you pay RM224 for a set of four screwdrivers?

Probably not, but that was what the Government paid to supply tools for students at the eight National Youth Skills Institutes (IKBN) around the country, according to the Auditor-General’s (AG) report.

The Star shopped around and found this set of Stanley screwdrivers. They cost RM32.80. For the RM224.94 set.
The AG said the screwdrivers had a market price of RM40 and according to pictures in the report, resembled the average Philips screwdrivers you could buy in any hardware shop.

And it does not stop there – the AG went a step further by examining the prices paid for 12 other tools and equipment bought for the IKBN project, comparing it with market prices when the procurement was done in late 2002.

Among these were technical books consisting 10 titles that had a price tag of RM10,700 and a 3.1 megapixel digital camera that was bought for RM8,254.

For the 13 items that the report highlighted, the Government paid RM8.39mil more than the market price at that time.

According to the report, consultants for the Youth and Sports Ministry had reached an estimated price tag of RM399.67mil for the equipment for the IKBN project which later ballooned to RM767.98mil after two appeals by the ministry for additional allocations.

“The ministry said more money was needed in anticipation of a bigger student population and that getting equipment from the same supplier meant prices would remain the same.

“But there was no proof that market research was done to identify the prices of the items and equipment because minutes for the negotiation meetings were not prepared,” the report said.

It said without the minutes, the auditing team was unable to find out if efforts were made to reduce prices.

The AG also said that the ministry’s secretary-general (KSU) had signed off 11 contracts worth between RM7.99mil and RM74.2mil that were related to the IKBN project, on behalf of the Government.

“The KSU only has the authority to sign contracts worth less than RM5mil. Anything larger should be signed by the minister or someone to whom the authority has been given.

“However, during the audit, no such letter giving the authority to the KSU presented itself,” the report said.

The report said there were also discrepancies such as one supplier being paid more than the other for exactly the same equipment.

One example the AG highlighted showed one supplier getting RM1.24mil more than the other for identical engineering equipment.

First Class Parliament, First Class Mentality

First, they used almost RM90 million to renovate our 45 years old Parliament building. But the contract only included interior renovation and rewiring works. But then, it leaked right after the renovation work was done and the public were then informed that the contract does not include any repair work on the roof top. Our brainy Work Minister further said the leakage was due to the poor roof condition. (source from here).

Fine. So, they said that they have to carry out the roof repair work and the repair cost was estimated to be around RM 13 million (source from here). And our brainy Work Minister further explained on top of his earlier response that the reason the roof leaked was due to :-
1. The building is very old.
2. The existing waterproofing at the roof was in a very poor condition.
3. Massive changes in the weather pattern contributed to the leakage (source from here)

And now ladies and gents, our brainy Work Minister has found out the root cause for all the leakage problem.

The water proofing was sufficient, but it became dirty because of the garbage and all kinds of construction materials like pieces of wood and cement left behind on the roof and this caused the water proofing to be damaged and the roof to leak” (sourced from here and here).

Who in the fucking world would have access to our Parliament rooftop, and what the fuck in the world would he/she want to throw those bloody rubbish there??!??!?!??~?~?~

This is way beyond my comprehension, and I can't seem to understand this. Perhaps you guys can explain this to me.

Then I read in the The Sun newspaper yesterday (7th Sept 2007) that a few brainy Parliament members (of coz, they were none other than Barisan Nasional's) were suggesting to construct a new Parliament building. After all, they said that its time for a change as the current one is already too old. And another smart ass (also from BN) seconded the decision and this smart ass said something to this extent.

"The new building should be a first class building. After all, our Parliament has a first class mentality and a first class Ministers. So, it is imperative that the new Parliament building should be a first class building to reflect the true first class Ministers".

And another brainy guy (suprise suprise, he is also from BN) proposed that the new site should be in Putrajaya, but it was rejected by others (also BN). They explained that the Parliament should be located far away from the administrative area (Putrajaya, in this case) to reflect the separation of power between the law-making-body and the adminstrative.

A new building eh?

W.H.A.T A B.R.I.L.L.I.A.N.T I.D.E.A !!!!

Well, from the highly intellectual level of debates in the Parliament (live telecast of the debate can be found here, here, here, here and here), I think I may have found a very suitable place to suit our Barisan Nasional Parliament member's intellectual level.

Located just beside of MRR2 in between Batu Caves and Kepong, I found this area to be the most suitable place as it is definitely far away from Putrajaya. And this place would be good to reflect our Parliament Minister's "intellectual" level. Yeah, they can do some reclaim work on this land. Its quite an engineering challenge to construct a building on a used sanitary landfill u know? The environmental issue is difficult to tackle (due to the existing leechate) and the soft ground condition. Its pretty challenging feat, and if our Work Minister can succcessfully build one, I am very sure it would enter into the Malaysian Book of Records. And we would be very proud to claim that this is our brand new first class Parliament to the whole world.

Don't you just feel proud to be a Malaysian?

Near Miss? Not This Time.

Just barely less than one week since my last posting on the near-miss incident, my beloved lil' petite Kelisa is now officially scarred.

No one to blame other than myself for not paying attention while reversing into an illegal car-park area when I was at The Curve basement car park. The rear right side door and mudguards has a few lines of scratches about 4 to 5 inches long, no thanks to my driving skill which got my car touching a column/pillar. No amount of car polish would be able to conceal these scratches.

Poor poor me!! :(

Mass Genocide

We have a bunch of brainless barbarians acting in disguise as our local council representatives. And they are planning to wipe out the whole dog population in Selayang area. But they are not committing this canine genocide with their own bare hands. Instead, they shall offer the reward to whoever that can execute this plan and bring the highest number of dogheads to the council.

And this is their masterplan.

Time To Migrate... To A New Blog

Think it would be good for me stop posting all the Malaysia political issues here in this blog. After all, this negative news will just make my blog dark and gloomy. And wouldn't want those bastards to use ISA against me for spreading the truth about Malaysia. Those bastards are capable of doing anything. Don't believe? Well, try reading this. (Right click the link and press "Save As" to your desktop).

As Malaysia will be celebrating its birthday tomorrow, and since the government has been trying very hard to instill sense of patriotism into us (successful or not, that's another story), I decided to heed the call and I shall potray patriotism in my own way. No flag waving like the hypocrites who only show their action once a year. Not going to organize big merdeka celebration like how the corrupted politicians who sucks the national coffer dry for their own hidden agenda. Instead, I am gonna join hands with other people who share similar views as I am, that is to expose the core and heart of the corrupted and idiotic government of Malaysia. I maybe a small kuchimiau who no one knows or even bothers, but I just hope that with what I am doing, I can create awareness to the society (or to the world) to reject the brainless goverment.

As of now, I am just too ashame to say that I am one as there is nothing proud of staying in a country that is heading south/cuckoo. A supposedly beautiful country are now raped and pillaged by the corrupted soul.

Oh well, enough of the so called patriotism speech.

Ladies and gentlemen..

Near Miss

The scene where a small Kancil reversing straight to my car as I was looking for a car park was still fresh on my mind. My car stopped behind this Kancil as I wanted to get into a nearby vacant car park, but the driver was unaware of my presence and took the liberty to reverse straight to the left of my car rear portion. I panicked and pressed the horn but the horn button on my Kelisa was rather small. Could not gave him the warning and to my horror, he drove right to me. I couldn't do anything and I could only see his car appearing closer and closer. My car jerked a little when his rear bumper touched mine.

Oh freak!! Gotta fork money to repair my car this time!!

Got down my car and checked the damage. Thank god that there was not a scratch or dent on my car!! Phew!! The driver got down and checked out his car, and then came to me.

Since both our car were not damaged in any way, so we considered our case closed.

But I was still shaking from the near miss incident. Things could go pretty ugly if he had reversed his car at a speed like a Formula One driver. What ever it is, I don't want my trusty lil' Kelisa to get into any accident at all. It has been almost one and half year since I last bought this car from a second hand dealer in Jalan Kuching.

It has served me well and I am satisfied with it. Never mind if it is a small car, as long as it can get me from point A to point B safely and reliably, I am satisfied. It may not be fast and does not has a sporty look, but I am glad it is economical and fuel efficient. Low car insurance, road tax, and consumes less fuel comparatively to other cars on the road. It has no fancy CD player or hi-fi car stereo, but a cassette/radio player is what has accompanied me throughout the time stucked in traffic jam or on a long journey outstation. This tiny car may get bullied occasionally on the road, but I am fine with it cause I will have the last laugh when it comes to hard-to-find-parking-spaces or in a narrow road.

Yeah, a wise decision to get myself this car. But need to be extra careful as this car has to brave itself against the big bad world out there. Have to defend it against the nincompoop Malaysia drivers who thinks that the road is a Formula One track!! Must protect it at all cost.

Happy happy Datuk Z

1. He built his own mansion (very huge mansion) smack in the middle of a kampung area without the local council's approval. And he was one of the municipal council.

(His lovely mansion - built without approval)

2. He demolished a satay stall for being a competitor to his own satay stall (DZ restoran) which was located just right opposite the road. And he used the excuse that the opposite stall was illegally built without any prior approval from the local council. It was later found out that his own stall was also illegally build on the government land. His stall was demolished, but no fine was imposed on him.

3. He was summoned by the Sultan to clarify the two issues above, but he excused himself and told that he was ill. He was caught vacationing with his family on an island the next day. Sultan got mad at this and summoned him again the following day, but no stern action was taken on him.

4. He had hidden the fact that he was a undischarged bankruptcy when held the Senator post, which was unlawful under the law. He got off scot-free.

5. He was a director of a few companies which has committed various offences under the Companies Act 1965 such as failing to submit annual financial report and Profit and Loss Statement, failing to conduct annual meeting, etc. 37 charges were levied to him by the Companies Commission earlier this year, but today's paper reported that all the charges were dropped. Companies Commission's prosecutor Azmil Haron told magistrate Fadzilatul Isma Ahmad Refngah that he had been instructed to withdraw the charges against the two companies and its directors. The defence lawyers said that the charges were withdrawn because "outstanding problems had been settled".

Datuk Zakaria Mohd Derus smiling away happily as he knows that Malaysia practises and fully embrace abuse of power, corruption and a dysfuntional legal system.

Aren't you proud to be a Malaysian?

Namewee issue - Hwa Beng: “let the matter rest and time to move ahead”

18/08/2007

“To drag on the Wee Meng Chee aka Namewee rendition of Negaraku serves no purpose as it would only send a wrong message to Malaysians especially youths by giving the impression that Malaysia does not practise freedom of speech.”

This was the message delivered by YB Dato’ Lee Hwa Beng, MCA Central Committee member and state Assemblyman for Subang Jaya. He made these remarks after concluding a seminar with members of MCA Club Overseas from Australia, United Kingdom, Japan and Ukraine.

“The boy is naïve, and he is genuinely sorry as indicated by his apology through YB Dato’ Chua Soi Lek, a full Cabinet Minister and MCA Vice President. He realizes his mistake,” explained Hwa Beng.

Hwa Beng who is also MCA International Bureau Chairman added that “if you prosecute him in absentia, there is no meaning served as Namewee may choose not to return to Malaysia.”

Meanwhile, in view of the ongoing elections at UMNO division levels, Hwa Beng suggested that “for UMNO leaders who insist on prosecuting Namewee, they are using this issue to score political mileage. If you noticed, all these criticisms charged against Namewee coincide during and at the opening of the UMNO division level meetings. Some want to be heroes.” Hwa Beng then urged our UMNO counterparts to refrain from playing up to the gallery “because if UMNO keeps hammering Namewee, more Malaysians will grow to detest UMNO, and later on Barisan Nasional as a whole. In the end, all of us will suffer. Hence, it is better to let this issue rest and move ahead.”

Meanwhile Hwa Beng also highlighted that there are UMNO leaders who are magnanimous in accepting Namewee’s apology, for instance the Minister of Information YB Dato’ Seri Zainuddin Maidin who said that society must accept his apology by forgiving him. "He should not be punished but instead be guided and educated to enable him to understand the basics and to distinguish between political and national issues." Another UMNO leader who displayed magnanimity is a Perak EXCO councilor.

Hwa Beng’s advice comes as very important food for thought for parties who are insistent on prosecuting Namewee. To harp on an issue although the youngster has already issued a public apology through a Cabinet Minister while ignoring other more serious national issues like combating rising crime rates, upholding the original intentions of the Federal Constitution or weeding out graft in the private and public sector, or striving towards a more representative civil service ultimately will not benefit our beloved country on the whole.

- MCA Online -

Kudos to our MCA for helping out poor Namawee and their parents in handling this sensitive issue. Apology has been conveyed through MCA's effort in talking senses to both the parent and Namawee. Guess MCA is like a Superman to the rescue eh?

Not quite. Issue should be closed after the public apology has been published in both the paper and Namawee's blog, but it turned out to be otherwise.

22/08: MCA bersetuju Meng Chee dihukum

Posted by: Raja Petra

All i see is no Superman, but a chihuahua who knows how to backstab people and kow tow to no-brainer-nincompoop-rottweilers.

Oh well, as long as we have such doggies all over the place, we should be proud being Malaysian, shouldn't we?

Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) Fiasco.

That was what The Sun newspaper has been reporting for the past few weeks. This was one project that can catapult our Port Klang to be on par with the best in the world. But sadly, after years of planning and resources dumped into it, it is now on the verge of collapsing.

Satu lagi projek Barisan Nasional!!

A prominent Dubai investor (Jafza) has pulled out of the project leaving the Malaysian counterpart in doldrum. Some of the reasons cited by Chuck Heath, the Senior VP of Jafza were:-

1) "political interference, bureaucracy and breaches of the management agreement signed between Jafza and the Port Klang Authority (PKA)."

2)
"total lack of government planning ... which has seen the most fundamental issues being considered and resolved only after the event rather than before".

3) transparency was non-existent and the "Malaysian political and economic landscape has too many vested interests seeking involvement and control in this project"

But i love the way Chuck Heath put the third statement. He is indirectly implying that there are definitely people who wanted to take part in the satu-lagi-projek-Barisan-Nasional project.

Now, now, now. Notice anything fishy there? One could have easily guessed that there are some people who wanted to be hanky panky here!!

Now, the sole Malaysian company is on the nearing bancruptcy, and guess who is coming to rescue??

Satu lagi projek Barisan Nasional!!

Yup, our government is going to bail out the company, forking out almost RM4 billion to do so. They said that they have no choice but to help worr... And they are "forced" to do so worr....(Read it here)

BarrgerR!!!!

That's RM 4 B.I.L.L.I.O.N we are talking about!! That is with a capital B!!!

To give you a clue on how much is this RM 4B, lets take a look at some figure:-

1)

This table shows the total tax revenue collected by the Internal Revenue Board from 2001 to 2006. -sourced from here. RM4B is more than 10% of our total tax collection. Which means, 10% of the tax you guys are paying are going into someone's wallet.

2) Total construction cost for SMART tunnel is almost RM 2B. That means, we could have build two SMART tunnel with this total amount of money.

3) RM 4.4B is the amount committed by the government to improve our public transport after removing partially the fuel subsidy earlier this year. But guess our public transport will never be revamped cause our numbskull ministers decided to use the money to bail a failed company out of bancruptcy.

All i see is that the money will not help the company nor the project. In fact, I am very sure that the money will be used to make one's (or many) piggy bank(s) burst with money.

Now, is this a fiasco? No, I don't think so. Fiesta sounds more convincing.

Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) Fiesta!!

Theme Song For Jeff Ooi

This was a video done by one of Malaysia's famous bloggerhead (Kenny Sia). Perhaps Jeff Ooi should seriously consider this his theme song in his upcoming election campaign? Would like him to win a seat in the parliament or state assembly seat so that he can keep our jokers at bay!

ps: A lot of issues are lingering in my mind at the moment. Shall post this up later.

Zero In Everything

Why can't you read and understand the list that I have given you? I have explained a few times and yet it doesn't go into your head.

It's 7pm and you have wasted your whole day since morning doing things that I don't need.

And you expect me to sign for your time sheet?

Productivity = Zero.

Effectiveness = Zero.

Efficiency = Zero.

Results = Zero.

Period.

I need to rethink of the way I give instructions. Guess I have to explain the instructions s.l.o.w.l.y and r.e.p.e.a.t myself over and over again. Or should I have to treat them like small kids and tell them to do step 1, 2 and 3 and so forth? Gosh. I can't imagine this at all.

Malaysia macam mana nak maju oi?

Head and Shoulder (mint) and Vaseline really work wonder!!

Itchy scalp and lip is beginning to diminish after trying them out yesterday.

Thanks to nomilk and pj for recommending the above.

------

Just knew that vaseline is actually 100% petroleum jelly (a mixture of hydrocarbons). And a guy by the name of Cheesebrough realised its commercial potential after discovering this gel from the oil riggers in United States. After developing and refining the gel, this product was promoted as ointment to heal wounds and cuts. However it was later found out that this claim was baseless. The ointment only helped to seal off the wound from the air and prohibits germs and bacterias from entering the wound. Nowadays, petroleum jelly is used widely in skin related products such as cosmetics.

And lips which is as dry as a Sahara desert. And its killing me with the dryness and itchiness. Must be something that i ate that made me allergic. It's so itchy that I feel like cutting my lips off!!

*scratch scratch*

Head & shoulder doesn't work on the dandruff problem. And lip balm doesn't cure my lips. Am I the only guy who puts on lipbalm?

Help me~~~ Arghh!!!

Blogging and Politics

http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2007/4/5/nation/17357132&sec=nation

It's a suprise that our beloved politician can think of such great idea - registering bloggers. Come to think of it, this brilliant idea would definitely put our country in the spotlight. Now, isn't this a great idea? If the registration of blogger is carried out, then this will be the first in the world and we can claim our victory" in the Guiness Book of Record for the category of "The First Country In The World To Register Bloggers". Plus, a good way to promote Malaysia too as we shall have a law to govern the cyber bloggers. A first of its kind in cyber-law. Perhaps this might pave way for Malaysia to be a leader in this field? How wonderful. Another world record for our beloved country.

I bet every Malaysian would be very proud of how our small country can achieve records and show our mighty prowess. World's longest satay, world's longest flag drapped at Wall of China, first Malaysian sent to space, first in everything! In the eye of the world, we are capable of achieving any feat.

I wonder what will be next in store for us? Perhaps the brainy politician should make it mandatory to register all the email addresses? Yeah, this will help in detering people from sending malicious emails once is carried out. Brilliant. Just brilliant. I would suggest them to put up a lucky draw with a grand prize of brand new Perodua MyVi for people who register. That will surely garner attraction.

Or another suggestion, they can make it compulsary to register first prior to posting any comments in the internet (such as posting comments in other blog's, website, forum, etc). And again, throw in a lucky draw. Maybe a brand new Proton Gen2 or Savvy.

Animals

Random photos on some animals.

*Ain't I cute?*

* Look at my beautiful eyes*

This cat lives behind my house in Seremban. Don't have any idea where it came from, but judging from the fur and physical look, she must have belongs to someone and definitely not a stray cat. This cat looks alike to the cat that I once had when I was a little child. Had the intention to steal this cat away, but I didn't have the heart to do it anyway. Plus, I don think I wil have the time to look after it. Oh well..

This puppy is sniffing for a place to do some shitty business in my garden.

Messy Hairdo

Jason's cute lil' bunny. I named it "Ah Goo". Has a fur coat of black and white. Just like a panda bear.

These two frogs came out of nowehere and found a place to reside at my rented house in Puchong. Comes out almost every night to play around in the garden. Seriously. No kidding. I name them Froggie and Kodok.

Cold

*shivering*

The air cond has just been serviced and now I feel like I am in a freezer!
Plus it has been raining for the past few days and this has only made the room temperature lower. This company jacket of mine and a cup of warm Milo doesn't help much.

Brr....

W.H.A.T T.H.E F.U.C.K????

Got a call from the recruitment manager just now. Told me that I performed very well in the job interview at the client's office last Friday. Also told me that the client likes me, I am good, convincing, and other feel-good stuff. Good good news to me. Something to boost my already-low-self-confident. LOL

While he said that, I was busy preparing my thank-you speech in my brain as I know I should be able to get the job. After all, I did feel that I performed quite well throughout the interview, unlike previous fews. There were 2 japanese guys interviewing me, and they are a piece of cake as my english level are much superior than theirs. LOL. Basically, I can answer and elaborate much and i feel pretty comfortable throughout the process. Overall, I was satisfied with my performance that day. Ok, give me my job now.

But heck NO~~~

W.H.A.T T.H.E F.U.C.K????

I was informed that I am more suitable for a design job. More of the office type of job. And the job that I am interviewing for requires on-site and physical work and they don't think I am suitable for this.

W.H.A.T T.H.E F.U.C.K????

I already anticipated that there will be lots of physical work plus long hours of work when I applied. If I know I can't do it, I wouldnt have applied, right? I wouldn't waste my precious time and your bloody time if I am not interested. Don't you numskull-dumbwitted-peasize-brain-homosapiens know this? Duh~~~

Ironically, I was told that I will be put in a "reserve" team, aka back-up/Plan-B by the client. They will look for more people for other positions 3 months later, and they shall put me in their record. They shall contact me when the time comes.
W.H.A.T T.H.E F.U.C.K????
A consolation prize for me (yeah, at least I got one instead of empty handed, after all my effort). But deep inside my heart, i was cursing all the way.

W.H.A.T T.H.E F.U.C.K????

Bizarre Dreams

Haven't been getting good sleep lately. Weird dreams kept on appearing for the past few weeks. Now, I am someone who doesn't dream much and even if I dreamt, I normally don't remember them. Or if I do recall these dreams, I will just brush them aside as I am not someone who cares about my brain activitity at night. But the event that happened these few weeks are just too bizarre for me to take it lightly.

One of the dreams was this. Dreamt of one of my friend (who is still alive in real life) and in the dream, I treated him just like how normal friend do (chatting, meeting up for drinks, etc). But the weird part (or the scary part) was that I found out from his mother that my fren here was already dead much earlier in the dream, which means, I have been communicating with the ghost of him in the dream all the time until the news reached me. Creepy eh? Woke up straight away upon knowing the creepy news.

Another dream was about one of my friend who I haven't been keeping touch with him ever since I completed my secondary school, until I heard about his death a few months back. Somehow, he appeared in my dream. Couldn't recall what we did in the dream though, but I think this is pretty weird for me to handle. I think we did spoke to each other in my dream, but I just could not recall what was that all about.

And yesterday's dream was the weirdest of all. Saw an aeroplane (I think it is a Boeing type of plane) taking off vertically, just like a space shuttle. Plane can never take off in such way, as their engine power is not strong enough to push them up vertically. But guess in dreams, anything can happen. Anyway, this plane was ascending right in front of me, and the image of this plane was very big so i presume it should be very near to me. Then, all of a sudden, the plane crashed to the ground. Funny thing was that there was no explosion from the crash unlike in the hollywood movies where big explosions and dramatic special effects will come into picture. For this plane crash, there was no smoke, no fire, but only debris flying everywhere after the plane hit the ground. Metal parts of the plane started to fall around me. And i ran to take cover. Of all the places, I chose to take shelter in a place that no one would ever think of - a moonsoon drain! Don't ask me why. It just happened! It was a dry drain, and no water in sight. I jumped into the drain and squatted there hoping that none of the plane parts will hit me.

And guess wat. In this monsoon drain, there were also other people as well. But they were not there to hide from the falling parts of the plane crash. Instead, they seems perfectly natural and no signs of panic or scared look on their face. They were jsut behaving - normally. Some of them were wandering around. But there was one thing which captured my attention. There were waiters there, right at this place. About 4 or 5 of them. What the hell are waiters doing in a drain? I saw that they were holding some dishes and were about to serve customers. Weird. Just plain weird. Anyway, i woke up right after that.

And a few more other dreams that I will not mention here as they are not significant enough to be classified as "weird".

I just wonder what do these dreams are trying to tell me. Are they hinting something to me? Are these bad omen signalling bad luck will befall me?

Or otherwise?
I just hope that these dreams will stop recurring and disturb my peaceful sleep. I wouldn't mind to have these dreams if the people in the dream will tell me what is 4D number or lottery which will come out so that I can strike it rich!!

Optimism

"If you have been rejected many times in your life, then one more rejection isn't going to make much difference. If you're rejected, don't automatically assume it's your fault. The other person may have several reasons for not doing what you're asking her to do: none of it may have anything to do with you. Perhaps the person is busy or not feeling well or genuinely not interested in spending time with you. Rejections are part of everyday life. Don't let them bother you. Keep reaching out to others. Keep reaching out to others. When you begin to recieve positive responses, then you are on the right track. It's all a matter of numbers. Count the positive responses and forget about the rejections."

Now that's positive thinking!

Nobility

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men.
True nobility is being superior to your former self.

--------

Conversation #1

Fren1 : Hi
Me : Hi there
Fren1 : Where are you?
Me : Office
Fren1 : U working?
Me : Try to guess? (Irritated with the stupid question)
Fren1 : Back to office to surf net?
Me : *shrugs*

Duh.. Of coz i am working, you piece of shit! You think I would waste the beautiful Saturday just to go office to surf net?

Conversation #2

Fren2 : Hi
Me : Hello
Fren2 : Where are you?
Me : Working
Fren2 : You still at office?
Me : Yes (Another stupid question again)
Fren2 : Why still at office?
Me : Me working till 5pm today (Irritated and getting restless)
Fren2 : Saturday no half day?
Me : I work from from 8am to 5pm EVERY SATURDAY (This bloody idiot knows I work till 5pm every saturday and yet he is asking this stupid question)
Fren2 : IC. Come back XXX (ex-company) work la
Me : %%#@!aS@@!PQ

Duh.. If i intend to stay in the company, I wouldn't have left it in the first place, don't you understand this fucking easy common sense?

Moral of the story:

Please don't ask me stupid questions ever again! Especially when I am working on Saturday. My emotion runs haywire when I have to be in the office pathetically while others go out or stay at home happily.

Apocalypto

Watched this awesome movie recently. This movie was directed by the acclaimed actor/director Mel Gibson. Set during the Mayan civilization, this story revolves around a native tribe who lives peacefully in the jungle. Then one day, their village was pillaged and kidnapped by a tribe from another region. A group of people was captured and brought to the tribe's village. Reason of the capture was unbeknown to them, but they only found out the answer when they were held at the temple altar in the village. They were to be made sacrificed to the Sun and to fulfill the Sun God's hunger so that the drought and famine which befall the brutal tribe's village will stop.

Halfway through the sacrifice, an eclipse happened (what a coincident) and the prisoners were set free as the eclipse was believed to be a good omen that the drought will end soon. Thinking that they have achieved freedom, this poor group of people rejoiced but only to find out that this joy was shortlived. They were made to be played around by the brutal armies. In order to achieve freedom, they had to pass through obstacles (shooting arrows, javelins, etc). Last obstacle was to get past a warrior who also happened to be the army leader's only son. None but one survived through. This man managed to barely escape only after he killed the warrior.

Revenge sets in, and the army, led by the warrior's father chased after the poor chap. And the journey took us back into the jungle where cat-and-mouse game was being played. One by one was taken down by the strong-willed man who needed to survive to see his wife and son (who were hiding in a safe place when the pillage happened earlier). And the ending was predictable enough - man emerged victorious and reunited with family.

What is interesting about this movie are the brutality and the violence shown. The raw violent in an ancient way. Man killing each other the primitive way - Club blown to the head and blood gushing out from the skull. Man, this is just awesome!!

Totally recommend this movie. But not for the faint hearted though.

By the way, here are some snapshots on the main actor (The man who survived the ordeal). Does the face rings any bell in your head?

Time For A Change - DiGi

Starting next year, we can retain our mobile number if we want to change the network operator. This good news was reported by The Star. We don't have to go thru the hassle to inform everyone of the new phone number when we change operators, unlike now. And it's about time too!

Allelujah~~

All hail and praise to our government for doing the right thing for the FIRST time.

Finally, i can try out other network (I am thinking of switching to DiGi) as I feel that Maxis's phone charges are rather high; no doubt that the service is good, but for a kiamsiap person like me, every cent counts.

Before this become reality, I hope that this new implementation will go on smoothly and according to schedule as the government plans are always delay or never executed at all. And I also hope that there will not be any charges imposed to the consumer by the bloodsucking operators or middleman appointed to roll out this service.
